No loose fabric—this keeps baby supported and protects your back from strain. I — In View at All Times You should be able to see your little one’s face with a quick glance down. Fabric should never cover baby’s face or need pulling aside to check on them. C — Close Enough to Kiss Baby’s head should be right under your chin. If you can lean in and sneak a kiss on their soft little head—you’re good. K — Keep Chin Off Chest Always make sure baby’s head is up and their chin isn’t tucked down to their chest. There should be at least a finger’s width of space under the chin to keep airways clear. S — Supported Back Baby should be held upright with their back well supported. Their tummy and chest should rest snug against your body—no slumping or leaning.
